Tim McGuire is a Realtor and licensed California real estate broker with Compass, serving Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, Danville and San Ramon. He brings over 25 years of real estate expertise and a track record of more than 600 successful home sales to every client interaction. Known for his calm, strategic approach and concierge-level service, he is the trusted advisor for buyers, sellers and investors seeking market insight, negotiation strength and consistently exceptional results.

An MBA graduate and Pleasanton resident since 1995, Tim combines deep local knowledge with sharp financial acumen. He is especially skilled at navigating complex transactions, earning a reputation for responsiveness, attention to detail and problem-solving under pressure. His commitment to client satisfaction is reflected in more than 400 five-star reviews and a loyal base of repeat and referral clients. Since 2019, Tim and his team have ranked as Pleasanton’s number one team for total transactions.

Tim holds a California broker license, which qualifies him to run a brokerage rather than only sell under one. He also brings commercial real estate insight from earlier work as an owner’s representative for a regional bank, managing projects alongside architects and contractors, and holds the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from BOMA. Today Tim leads the McGuire Olson Real Estate Team at Compass, ten agents and two full-time support staff who ensure every client receives hands-on attention from the first walkthrough to the closing table.

Outside of work Tim is rooted in the Pleasanton community, supporting the Alameda County Food Bank, Catholic Charities, local schools and youth sports.
